It is easy to fall back into old habits even after a relaxing week off school. Here at PAWS, we put together five helpful tips to staying relaxed while back at university.
College is stressful, but there are ways to maintain it. Visit PAWS today. PAWS KICK-OFF EVENT Thursday, April 4, 2019 | 12-9 p.m. Pups & Cups Cafe will host a kick-off event for the new non-profit PAWS (Pups Assisting With Stress) at noon on April 4, 2019. The PAWS team hopes to provide an example of the services that will begin early April providing emotional support animals to the public. PAWS will bring its entire fleet of therapy dogs for a meet and greet with university students. “Science demonstrates that the introduction of pets into high-stress environments helps to boost morale and encourage a culture of mental wellness and serenity,” said Glenn Johnson, Mayor at City of Pullman. The event features a signature cocktail and 'mocktail' created by the cafe's bartender, and guests will be able to take a picture with their favorite pup at a photo booth. All proceeds go toward the PAWS team's mission to bring therapy dogs to college students at the lowest possible cost.
